PERMIT TO WORK (PERMIT ISSUER)

This course is for anyone who will be issuing permits (Permit Issuer) as part of a Permit to Work System. In this comprehensive course, you will learn the end-to-end process of issuing a permit to work, including:

· What is a Permit to Work and their part in a Permit to Work System

· The roles and responsibilities of a Permit Issuer and Permit Recipient

· The types of work that may require permitting (and types of permits)

· Document types within a Permit to Work System

· Procedure for issuing a permit

· Planning and preparation, permit request processes

· Risk control and mitigation (incl rescue plans)

· Performing work under a permit

· Closing out a permit and completing work

· Cancellations, Extensions, Validation and Handover of Permits

· Sections of an example permit to work

This course is fully online so you will need to have access to a computer, tablet or phone and have an email address to complete your registration.

Once you have successfully completed the online course you will be awarded certificate of completion in Permit to Work (Permit Issuer).
