Regulations require employers and Persons Conducting a Business Undertaking (PCBU) to ensure workers have the required skills and competency to demonstrate their ability to perform tasks relating to their job when plant and equipment are being used.

The PCBU can no longer assume an employee is competent, the PCBU must maintain records of competency. This makes VOC assessments ideal for contractual arrangements and pre-employment competency checks All Global Training issue a VOC Notice of Assessment detailing the assessment outcome.
